Telateks was founded in 1940 by Emin Üstünel, a pioneer in the field of bristle interlining. The business, which started its operations as a small textile company more than 70 years ago, has turned into a well-known international company serving different sectors related to textile products. The company, which has been producing and supplying interlining fabric to the apparel industry in the period from its establishment to 2003, has achieved all the firsts in the sector and has become one of the main players with its innovative attitude. In 2003, it started to produce high performance technical textiles with the METYX Composites brand.
